Events in Montepulciano from May 24 to 29

In the days from 24 to 29 May in Montepulciano and its surroundings there will be some gastronomic, cultural, folkloristic events. Below is the program:

• Snack in the Olive Grove
  On Sunday 29 May, the 3rd edition of the Merenda nell'Oliveta (Snack in the Olive Grove) takes place: a nature walk, including a visit to the village of Cervognano, culminating in a pleasant snack among olive trees.
  The full programme:
  - 4 p.m., meet in Cervognano, visit to the village and nature walk;
  - 5 p.m., tasting of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, in cooperation with the “Frantoio Buraschi” oil-mill of Montepulciano Stazione;
  - 6 p.m., olive grove snack, with bruschetta, extra virgin olive oil and local products. During the snack we will also have "Tutti in scena" (Everyone on Stage), a mini theatre workshop for participation of everyone. The cost of attendance is 15 euros per person (no charge for children under 15).

• Spring Festival at the Station, with traditional fair and festival of the Nana
  As part of the Spring Festival, now in its 23rd edition, the traditional Fair will take place in Montepulciano Stazione on Sunday 29 May. From 8 to 21, on the stalls, which are located throughout the hamlet, it will be possible to buy typical products, clothing, accessories and much more.
  On the evenings of May 27th, 28th and 29th, at the "I Tigli" sports center, the Nana Festival will also take place, with dance evenings and dinners (from 7.30 pm onwards) based on typical products and pizza; Sunday 29, also for lunch starting at 12.
• The Concerts of Palazzo Ricci
  Saturday 28 May, at 6.00 pm, in the Salone di Palazzo Ricci, a popular music concert with The Travelers Choice an International Concert of Popular Music. Pieces written in and about Montepulciano by young German songwriters will be performed as part of the Songwriter Camp 2022 of the Cologne Conservatory.Management, Jono Podmore, Aniko Kanthak, Jenny Gerdts, Marvin Boettger.
  Sunday 29 May, at 6.00 pm, in the Salone di Palazzo Ricci, Cultural Biathlon, violin concert with Franziska Strohmayr. Italian bike tour. Music by Telemann, Paganini and Bach. Admission € 8.00 – 5.00. www.palazzoricci.com
